No extra funding for Idaho roads next year - Thu, 14 Jan 2016 PST

The funding increases for roads and bridges that Idaho lawmakers approved last year have cut the state's maintenance backlog by a third, leaving it $165 million a year short of what it needs just to keep things as-is. But Gov. Butch Otter isn't asking for any additional increase in next year's budget. ITD says they'll want to talk about it again in two years.
