I was sad to learn about the coming March closing of one of our downtown anchors, Macy's. I fondly remember coming downtown as a child and seeing the gigantic Madonna on the front of then-Bon Marche at Christmas time. This vacancy will leave a huge hole in our beautiful downtown Spokane.
